Professional tennis coach Glenn Moodie has teamed up with Brookwater Golf & Country Club to bring his acclaimed tennis academy – Glenn Moodie International Tennis – to Brookwater later this month.

The Glenn Moodie International (GMI) Tennis facility at Brookwater will officially launch on Saturday 28 January, with a free tennis open day for the whole family.

Brookwater Golf & Country Club general manager Mr Warren Seeto said he was thrilled to officially welcome Glenn Moodie to Brookwater.

“Glenn is an outstanding tennis couch, and we are all excited to officially welcome Glenn Moodie International Tennis to Brookwater,” Mr Seeto said.

“To celebrate the launch of GMI Tennis at Brookwater, we’ve invited the whole community to come along to our tennis open day next Saturday,” he said.

Mr Glenn Moodie, who has been coaching tennis for nearly two decades, said his new coaching facility at Brookwater will allow him to implement a range of tennis development programs and coaching clinics.

“Brookwater’s premium tennis facilities will allow me to offer a range of development programs, from the grassroots MLC Hot Shots program to elite junior and senior coaching,” Mr Moodie said.

“I also plan on combining fixture and social tennis with other new events planned throughout the year,” he said.

Mr Moodie, who has lived in Springfield Lakes for more than eight years, said he was excited to establish his latest tennis facility in nearby Brookwater.

“I’m really looking forward to firming establishing myself and my team at the beautiful Brookwater Golf & Country Club,” Mr Moodie said.

“I hope to successfully create a strong and successful tennis culture amongst the Brookwater residents and the wider Springfield community,” he said.

Glenn Moodie is an official Talent Development Coach for Tennis Australia, where he is responsible for scouting, coaching and developing some of the best junior tennis players in the country.

The Glenn Moodie International Tennis at Brookwater Open Day is on Saturday 28 January, 4-7pm. The event will feature a range of tennis competitions, giveaways, games, MLC Tennis Hot Shots for the kids and a special appearance by ‘Terry the Tennis Ball’.
